Macnamara’s Bowl results 2026: Dubai Offshore win in RS21

Charlotte Borghesi led Dubai Offshore Sailing Club Team 2 to overall victory at the Macnamara’s Bowl, held at Royal Lymington Yacht Club last weekend.

The team scored 8 points across seven races to secure first place. Royal Lymington Yacht Club Team 1, helmed by Olivia Dowling, finished second on 12 points, with Vita Heathcote’s Royal Lymington Yacht Club Under 25 team placing third on 19 points.

A total of 11 teams competed in the event, representing clubs from the UK and overseas, including the UAE, Ireland, Bermuda and Canada.

Racing was held in RS21 keelboats, supplied by RS Sailing, with the one-design format placing the emphasis on teamwork and on-water performance. “The Macnamara’s Bowl highlights the calibre of racing the RS21 delivers,” said Liam Willis, Keelboat Manager at RS Sailing.

The regatta marked the first edition of the Macnamara’s Bowl in over three decades, signalling the return of a historic event in women’s sailing.
