HOLLD Launches a New Era of Performance Catamarans at Cannes Yachting Festival
HOLLD Yachts, a boutique Dutch boatbuilder specialising in advanced carbon composite multihulls, will make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 (9–14 September), showcasing its brand philosophy and flagship build, the HOLLD 74.
Bringing together decades of expertise in carbon composite construction for the superyacht industry, HOLLD is creating and building a new class of semi-custom multihulls that combine advanced engineering, tailored design, and world-class Dutch craftsmanship. Channelling both this deep superyacht knowledge and their standout design flair, HOLLD’s focus is on creating spectacular yachts that deliver speed, elegance, and effortless long-distance cruising.
Founded in Zwartsluis, Netherlands, a region renowned for shipbuilding excellence, HOLLD brings together a multidisciplinary team of engineers, naval architects, and carbon specialists. At its core is a simple ambition: to create carbon-built yachts that meet the demands of long-range cruising, liveable elegance, and lasting structural integrity.
“We didn’t set out to build another production multihull. We set out to re-engineer the category from the ground up, using carbon and epoxy infusion, digital build processes, and an obsessive focus on precision, longevity, and performance with a superyacht finish,” said Founder Guido Achtelik.
“At HOLLD, we believe owners shouldn’t have to choose between exhilarating performance and uncompromising comfort,” stated Founder Mo Ouass. “Every HOLLD yacht will be designed and built to reflect the owner’s unique vision while staying true to our Dutch build tradition of precision and innovation.”
Introducing the HOLLD 74
The first build of the HOLLD 74 is currently in progress and is scheduled for delivery in 2026. This 22.5-meter flagship carbon catamaran showcases the brand's dedication to lightweight construction, offers modular design flexibility, and features a refined interior execution, all made to the highest Dutch standards of quality.
Each HOLLD catamaran features advanced carbon composite hulls, epoxy-infused lightweight structures, and integrated onboard systems with digital controls, delivering high performance with greater efficiency and enhanced cruising control.
Far more than just a catamaran, a HOLLD yacht is a statement of individuality, precision, and defines a new era for multihulls, offering luxury onboard without compromise on performance.
Cannes is the first opportunity to experience HOLLD’s new standard for bespoke multihull design - a one-of-a-kind launch for a new era of owners who demand more from the sea.
HOLLD will formally unveil its vision at the upcoming festival from its stand in Port Canto, Rosaraie at SAIL142, inviting discerning owners, brokers, designers, and media to experience what sets its design-to-delivery philosophy apart.
